We love watching our clientsā progress with improved movement quality & posture & alignment!
Alessandro had a full shoulder replacement less than a year ago & his dedication to rehab & Pilates is paying off tremendously.
So proud of his progress & accomplishments as he demonstrates so
well here. There was a time he couldnāt raise his arm overhead performing a side bend & remain in alignment- look at him now! This made my day (& his too!)
Pilates truly heals!!
Iām all about body weight progressions that flow from position to position.
Why? Because they are functional in nature and allow for improvement in both upper body and overall strength & stabilization of the shoulder girdle & spine. They enhance your posture and ease lower back pain.
This progression is great to modify with the foam roller which allows for training to progress to dynamic planks ultimately to including an inversion.
The Plank, Down Stretch, Upstretch to Elephant flow series is of one of my favorites & a favorite with my students as well! Adding a foam roller between the knees for the Upstretch, allows for inner thigh & pelvic floor connection making it an ideal exercise as a starting point for those having difficulty with planks
Performed with one heavy and one medium spring. Feels so good! Your spine will thank you!!

I LOVE movement that flowsā¦transitioning one movement into another seamlessly is my ājamā, always has been, & this is one of my favorites ..I call it the āRock n Rollā š
Combining the ever popular Roll Up, Rollover & Teaser with a Lat Pull Down with minimal resistance is the perfect balance & core challenge. The emphasis on spinal articulation allows for improved flexibility for the spine.
Combining the ever popular Roll-Up, Rollover & Teaser with a Lat Pull Down with m inimal resistance is the perfect balalnce & core challenge.
The emphasis on spinal articulation allow for improved flexibility for the spine. Working on the basics of each exercise on its own will allow tomaster this flow in time. The tower is the a great apparatus to practice & showcase it all. Mastering each exercise on its own takes time but as with everything, you create mastery htrough repetition of the movement proces!
Definitley one of my favorites, again demonstrating how Pilates training incorporates whole body movement from both a strength & flexibility perspective with an emphasis on improving themobility of the spine.

Love getting to the studio early - gives me an opportunity to set the fuss a bit around the studio and prepare to greet my studentsā¦
But I aways give myself some self care time to warm MY body up with a short routine so my body is prepped & ready to go.
This is just one of many short routines I do to help me warm up my hips & spine. Nothing fancy, just basic moves that feel good. I love incorporating props as they truly assist in targeting muscles I need to give attention toā¦for me, my mid & lower back and always working on maintaining & improving my range of motion in my knee after a knee replacement 4 years ago.
Giving myself a good 30 minutes of self care prior to teaching is a great way to enhance my mindset as well. Allows me to be100% there for my clients.
Take time to Take Care of You ā¤ļø Your body and mind deserve it.
