Happy 4th, everyone!! 🇺🇲🎆 We've been super busy & are *way* behind on event updates, but here are a few quick photos from today - you can literally SEE the heat in these! 🥵 I took Scout & Cypher up to Run Jump Splash earlier for a couple of jumps in the sweltering temps. No matter the weather, it's always a good time on the dock, though!

Our first outdoor event of the season was the Kentucky Dogby at DARK K9. It was a sold out event, aka, a BLAST! Heather & Jason made even more upgrades to the facility over the winter to make things even nicer for the competitors, which did not go unnoticed! As always, it was wonderful seeing so many friends old & new again. , , & I were even mistaken for sisters at one point, which kind of tracks... is our "dock mom" after all! 🤣 Despite the cool temperatures, the dogs did great. ¡Arriba! ran a speedy 16.842 in Veteran Senior HD & also nailed down her DJX2 (Excellent 2) Title. 🎉 Denali ran an 18.49 in HD & took 2nd in Junior Open. Cypher was STOKED, but kept her brain cells all firing appropriately during the discipline changes 🙌💯. She finished 5th overall in Junior Open HD with an 18.719. I need to teach her AR soon, now that she has the other 2 disciplines down. A photographer from Visit Harrodsburg stopped by & got some fun shots of Denali and me running HD & AR. I still have to go through all of the official event photos - but here's a little compilation from my initial collection! Thanks so much to .and_her.dogs for taking our ribbon photos after the awards on Sunday!

So, diving at the Cluster was pretty awesome this year. I got an Advanced AR Title & pulled out 2 Regionals Invites in AR & HD. I think that pretty much made me Best In Show. Or maybe it was Best Dressed In Show. Whatevs, same thing...💅🤣
