What a busy weekend! This past Saturday also saw a couple of our foilests go up to Indianapolis, IN to part take in the final tournament of the Renard Cup series at Renard Fencing Academy.

In the Y14 Mixed Foil event, Reagan Redemann took home the silver🥈!

In the Senior Mixed Foil event, Shawn Redemann took home the bronze🥉 (earning his E26!) and Reagan Redemann secured 10th place.

Congrats and way to represent LFC! We love it when the hard work pays off!!

Over the weekend some of our épéeist traveled up to Ludlow, KY to battle it out in the Summer Inferno tournament at NKYFA….and they brought the heat🔥!!

In Div II Mixed Épée, all of our club members who fenced in this event locked in top-10 finishes:
Noah Anderson - 6th Place
Alexandra Faenova - 8th Place
Ross McNary - 9th Place

In Senior Mixed Épée, battled strong and it’s shows:
John Tran - 7th Place
Noah Anderson - 10th Place
Alexandra Faenova - 13th Place
Ross McNary - 15th Place

🎓 Faenova, Phoenix, and Zoernig—En Garde for the next chapter! 🤺✨

What a journey it has been! Last Wednesday, we had the honor of giving a proper sword salute to three incredible individuals as they close this chapter and head into the future. They’ve poured countless hours into refining their skills, and we couldn’t be prouder of the leaders they’ve become on and off the strip.

🌟 **Emily Zoernig (University of Louisville)** –From mastering the saber to conquering your Ph.D., you’ve brought so much strategic mind, energy, and heart to our fencing family. We will miss you as you head off to your residency at Michigan State, but we know you'll keep shining on and off the strip!

We are so incredibly proud of all your hard work, dedication, and everything you’ve accomplished. A huge thank you to the coaches, teammates, and families who came out to celebrate these amazing fencers with a sword arch and cupcakes! 🧁⚔️
