No need to be on the fence about coming to the pool with the cloudy skies today. It's Splashfest! We have:

- reduced admission all day
- archery in the gym until 3:00 (with paid admission)
- prize drawings until 3:00pm, including two 1-night stays at any Kentucky State Park Resort!
- Free beach balls for the kids, and all our floats and noodles out for you to use

Update: pool is opening at 1:00pm today, Friday 7/10!

Water Aerobics is returning this summer!

Scheduled to begin July 14, sessions will Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:15pm (shallow water) and 7:30-8:15pm (deep water).

The cost for the class will be the same as daily admission ($12) and your wristband from public swim or your season pass can be used!

As a day-use Rec Park, we are open and free to enter every day. Fee-based programs, such as the pool, are open too.

Our "thermometer series" of photos were popular last year. While the water has been slow to warm up this summer, these recent scorchers have certainly helped! Water is now 88 degrees.

Pool is back open today (Sunday, 6/28)! We're running our rain date rate ($5 all ages) until noon.

Did you know that our pool is 460,000 gallons and the pumps operate at 1200 gallons per minute?

Another beautiful day at the pool! We will be open (weather permitting) on the State Holidays of June 19 and July 4 for swimming.

We sometimes get asked about lap swimming. While we do not maintain specific hours for this (the lanes in this photo are for the Sawyer Swim Team only), it's generally quiet in the mornings when we open at 10:00 daily. You should be able to swim length or width comfortably at this time.

We've got cloudy skies, so here's a reminder of the pool's rain policy:

Admission is reduced to $5 (all ages) when there is a chance of rain closing the pool. We cannot offer rainchecks or refunds. When lightning is seen or thunder heard, the pool is cleared for a mandatory 30 minutes. If delays continue, the pool will be closed for the day.

Also, please note that the pool is closing at 4:00pm today (6/8) for a Sawyer Swim Team Meet. Weather permitting, this will be the only day we close early to the public all Summer.
