Seminarian Peter Bifone helped with a Hispanic youth retreat at St Edward. One of the organizers commented, "It was a joy to see Peter serving in pastoral ministry for the first time. He worked with great passion, love for Christ, and a genuine spirit of service to the community."

Please join the Serra Club in praying their monthly Holy Hour for Vocations on Wednesday.

Incorporate these things into your summer to help create a culture of Vocations.

Deacon Cuong Le is serving at St. Raphael Parish this summer. Fr. Tony Cecil is his mentor. Please welcome Deacon Cuong to your parish and help him understand the needs of current parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville. He will be returning to seminary this Fall and will spend his Spring in the Archdiocese before being ordained to the priesthood.

Great to see Archdiocese of Louisville seminarian Sam Mattingly enjoyed the first part of his summer experience at IPF to deepen his prayer life along with other seminarians from around the country.

On July 1, the Serra Club of Louisville welcomed new officers for the coming year at a mass in honor of the Feast of St. Junipero Serra. Serra Clubs promote and support Vocations to the Priesthood, consecrated religious life, and the diaconate. Please consider joining the club or participating in many of their initiatives at your local Parish Vocation Ministry.

Starting July 1, 2026, there is new leadership in the Vocation Office of the Archdiocese of Louisville. Fr. Matthew Millay is the Director of Vocations & Fr. Steven Reeves is the Director of Seminarians.
• Fr. Millay will be responsible for discerners who are considering entering the seminary and for promoting vocations to the priesthood in the archdiocese. He will continue to serve as administrator of the Church of the Ascension.
• Fr. Reeves will be responsible for the seminarians in formation for the archdiocese. He will continue as pastor of St. Lawrence Church.
They will share in promoting vocations to consecrated religious life.
