Went downstairs to the barn late last night to do a night check and top off water buckets.
It’s just a recharge for my mental state to see the babies playing without a worry in the world.
Nighttime is always a favorite for me.

My little chick is growing up fast. It’s a little spoiled. I’m not very chicken savvy. Does this look like a hen or a rooster 🐓 🐔

Congratulations to these two girls. Not only have these two made strong commitments to their year of showing horses, helped me so much this year with camps, lessons, days when I needed a much needed mental break and any other time I needed help. They continued to donate their time to the Louisville Zoo this summer.
Horse kids have grit and heart in everything they do. They learn the value of a dollar. The word budget is learned at a very early age. Time management, sleepless hours, school schedules, scholarships family and their horses all come first.

Congratulations you two. JoLee Rubano we are going to miss you so much. Wishing you the very best as you go off to your next chapter in your adventures!
