👀 WHERE IS NATE AMENT? 🦌
If you’ve been looking for the Milwaukee Bucks' #13 overall pick on the hardwood during the California Classic, you aren't the only one. The 6'10" former Tennessee star sat out the opening games, leaving a lot of fans scratching their heads wondering what’s going on.
Is he hurt? Did something go wrong?
Relax, Bucks fans. It’s actually just a classic administrative storyline.
❌ The Paperwork Hold-up
Ament wasn't legally allowed to lace them up yet! He was drafted 13th overall by the Miami Heat, but his rights were immediately packaged to Milwaukee in that blockbuster Giannis Antetokounmpo trade. Because of NBA league rules, that massive multi-player deal couldn't become completely official until Monday, July 6th. Until the ink dried, he couldn't legally take the floor in a Bucks jersey.
🏥 The Injury Report
While there have also been some whispers out of camp about a minor lingering knee issue that the team is being incredibly smart and cautious with, the primary roadblock keeping him off the court this past weekend was purely legal paperwork.
🎰 Next Stop: Las Vegas
Now that the trade is officially cleared and the ink is dry, the real show begins. Ament is expected to be added straight to the official roster as the team heads to the Las Vegas Summer League.
📅 Mark your calendars: The Bucks open up their Vegas schedule this Friday, and guess who they play? The Miami Heat. Talk about a script.
🔥 What Nate Ament brings to Milwaukee:
Elite Length & Fluidity: At 6'10" with a 7'1" wingspan, he plays like a pure wing. He can grab a board and push the break effortlessly.
SEC Proven: Averaged 16.7 PPG and 6.3 RPG as a freshman under Rick Barnes, turning it up to a massive 19.0 PPG during intense SEC conference play.
Pure Opportunity: With a wide-open frontcourt in Milwaukee right now, Ament is walking into a prime situation to showcase his 3-level scoring potential early.
The evaluation starts Friday in Vegas. Stay tuned! 🎥🔥

Ryan Conwell didn't care about Sunday’s shooting slump. Yesterday against the Warriors, the rookie went to work:
🔥 26 PTS (Game-High)
🎯 8-14 FG
💦 4-9 3PM
💪 5 REB / 4 AST
Two 20+ point games in his first three Summer League appearances. Pick 37 is looking like an absolute theft for Pat Riley and the Heat. 💼🌴

🤸♀️📚 ANOTHER MAJOR HONOR FOR UK'S RODRIGUEZ 📚🤸♀️
If you’ve been paying attention to what’s happening over in Lexington lately, you already know that Kentucky gymnastics has elevated itself into the national conversation. And right at the center of that rise is a student-athlete who is setting the standard for what the term "all-arounder" truly means.
On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators dropped their Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Team, and rising senior Delaynee Rodriguez grabbed a well-deserved spot on the Second Team.
To understand the weight of this honor, you have to understand the sheer volume of competition. The CSC At-Large program is an absolute gauntlet, lumping together elite student-athletes from sports that don't have their own standalone category, we're talking beach volleyball, lacrosse, rowing, golf, and ice hockey. To even get a look in gymnastics, you have to carry a 3.50 GPA and rank in the top 75 nationally in an event, or individually qualify for the NCAA Championships.
The Las Vegas native didn’t just meet those standards; she blew right past them. Rodriguez held down a pristine 4.0 GPA in Integrated Strategic Communications while simultaneously locking down a top-10 national ranking in the all-around during this 2026 campaign.
Take a look at the resume she put together this past year:
🔹 Perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom
🔹 No. 10 National Ranking in the All-Around
🔹 No. 20 on Balance Beam & No. 33 on Uneven Bars
🔹 Individual NCAA Qualifier on beam, finishing 17th in the nation with a 9.8875
What Rodriguez did in 2026 wasn't just a good season, it was a career year by any metric. She set lifetime bests on all four events and the all-around, hauling in her first All-SEC and All-America honors. She posted a staggering 16 event titles this season alone, leading the Cats in scoring and anchoring the lineup with a level of grit you simply love to see.
For me, the turning point of her season, and the performance that showed exactly what she's made of, came back on February 11 down at Auburn. Rodriguez put on an absolute clinic on the road, winning three event titles and posting a career-high 39.650 in the all-around to lead Kentucky to a massive upset victory.
That performance didn't just win a meet; it cemented her as the fourth-highest scoring all-arounder in Kentucky history. When your name is being mentioned in the same breath as Wildcat legends like Jenny Hansen, Raena Worley, and Mollie Korth, you are tracking in very rare air.
More than the flashy numbers, though, is the sheer consistency. Rodriguez was one of only two athletes in the entire SEC to compete in the all-around in every single meet this season. In 149 career routines, she has scored at least a 9.8 an incredible 129 times. She is the literal definition of a rock in that lineup.
Rodriguez is one of just seven gymnasts nationwide to make this year's Academic All-America At-Large squad, proving once again that you can chase championships on the floor while taking care of business at the highest level in the classroom.
A massive congratulations to Delaynee. She’s making Big Blue Nation proud the right way.

There is a specific kind of math that college basketball coaches have to solve every summer now. It isn’t just about adding talent; it’s about finding the specific pieces that fit a specific puzzle.
Eastern Kentucky head coach A.W. Hamilton found one of his pieces today. And he had to look across the Atlantic Ocean to get it.
EKU announced the signing of Duje Dujmovic, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound combo forward who spent last season playing in the German ProB League. If you're looking for the template of modern college basketball, Dujmovic checks a lot of the boxes. He has the size of a traditional frontcourt player but the perimeter history of a guard.
"As we continue rounding out our roster, he brings size, versatility, and experience," Hamilton said in a statement. "He’s a great fit for our program."
In coaching speak, "versatility" usually means a player who can cover up a lot of mistakes on the floor. For EKU, Dujmovic brings a baseline of professional development that you don’t always find in the freshman market.
Playing for the Rhoendorf Dragons last season, Dujmovic averaged 10.0 points and 5.1 rebounds. Those aren't numbers that will cause a viral sensation on social media, but the secondary column tells a more interesting story. He shot 53% from the field. He shot 34% from the 3-point line in 27 games. In a system like Hamilton's, which relies on floor spacing and quick decision-making, efficiency matters a lot more than volume.
He can stretch a defense, and he can handle the physical reality of the lane. On March 14, he went for 20 points against Vechta 2 on 9-of-16 shooting. Last November, he pulled down 12 rebounds against Rostock Academy.
This isn't a one-year flash, either. The Duesseldorf native averaged 10.3 points and shot 39% from deep the previous season for TSV Neustadt, following a two-year stint with RheinStars Cologne. He has played against grown men in structured, disciplined systems for four years.
College basketball rosters are built differently now. They are built older, they are built faster, and they are increasingly built globally. EKU didn't just get bigger today; they got more adaptable.
The Colonels still have plenty of work to do before November arrives, but in securing a commitment from a veteran forward with a European basketball education, Hamilton just made the puzzle in Richmond a little easier to solve.

From West Lafayette to Indianapolis. The collegiate assist king is staying home. 🌾➡️🏎️
The Indiana Pacers just got an absolute steal at #38. They can talk about his size all they want, but you can't measure heart, and you damn sure can’t measure a basketball IQ that’s completely off the charts. Braden Smith leaves college as the NCAA’s all-time career assist leader, and now he’s bringing that elite, cold-blooded vision straight to the league.
Tyrese Haliburton running the show with Braden orchestrating the second unit? The pace in Indy is about to be terrifying. 🥶
Get ready, Fieldhouse. A hometown hero is arriving.

The standard in Austin is simple: National Championship or bust. 🤘🔥
Coach Sean Miller gets it. Year one brought a sweet 16 run, and we are just getting started. The culture is built, the standard is set, and the goal remains exactly the same.
"The one thing you learn very quickly at the University of Texas is, you name the sport, they're trying to win the national championship."

Four schools in four years. Every stop, the numbers went up. "Big Guard" is taking his talent to South Beach! 😤🔥🌴Huge congratulations to Auburn Tigers powerhouse Keyshawn O. Hall on signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Miami Heat!
Talk about an absolute journeyman who conquered every single level of college hoops. Keyshawn took the scenic route, starting at UNLV, breaking out at George Mason, dominating at UCF, and finally landing on The Plains for his senior year. Instead of getting lost in the shuffle, he completely took over, starting all 36 games and leading the Tigers as their go-to bucket getter.
The man put on an absolute clinic in the SEC, dropping a career-high 19.3 PPG (5th in the SEC) and grabbing 7.1 RPG. He racked up 19 games of 20+ points, set an Auburn single-season record by knocking down 228 free throws, and capped his spectacular college career by anchoring the squad all the way to an NIT Championship title! 🏆
At 6’7” and a bruising 230 lbs, they don't call him "Big Guard" for nothing. He has the frame of a physical forward but the modern skill set of a pure perimeter weapon, hitting nearly 38% from deep last season while handling the rock like a point guard. If there is any franchise in the NBA that knows how to turn hungry, battle-tested, undrafted talent into legitimate league stars, it’s Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat.
Keyshawn has "Heat Culture" written all over him.Watch him lock in and destroy the competition at the NBA Summer League in Vegas this month! From the Plains to the 305! 🦅🏀 ➡️ 🔥🔴

The ultimate sacrifice for the team, and now he’s officially following in his father’s footsteps. This is how legacy is built! 🐊✈️🎷
Huge congratulations to Florida Gators center Micah Handlogten on signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Utah Jazz!
Talk about a beautiful full-circle moment. Micah is headed to Salt Lake City to play for the exact same franchise his dad, Ben Handlogten, suited up for back in the early 2000s. You literally cannot script it any better than that.
But let’s talk about the grit this man possesses. After suffering a devastating fractured leg in the 2024 SEC Championship game, Micah didn't just rehab, he fought his way back early. During the 2024-25 season, when the Gators suffered a brutal wave of frontcourt injuries, Micah made the selfless, unforgettable choice to completely forego his medical redshirt. He came back mid-February, sacrificed his own year of eligibility, and played the final 16 games to anchor the frontcourt and help guide Florida to a thrilling National Championship title.
Head Coach Todd Golden said it best: Micah goes down as one of the most unselfish athletes to ever step foot on campus in Gainesville.
At a towering 7’1” and 260 lbs, Micah is an absolute vacuum cleaner on the glass. He averaged 5.9 boards in under 15 minutes a game off the bench this past season, using his massive frame and high motor to manipulate space. He’s one of only two players in Gator history (alongside Patric Young) to notch multiple seasons with 100+ offensive rebounds. He plays with massive energy, blocks shots at the rim, and alters everything in the paint.
Utah is getting an elite teammate, a premier glass-cleaner, and a flat-out warrior who knows what it takes to win at the highest level. Watch him hold down the interior and make some serious noise in the NBA Summer League this month!

From Ivy League genius to the SEC title, the vision is elite. Now he’s taking that IQ to the next level! 🇨🇦🐊✨
Huge congratulations to former Florida Gators point guard Xaivian Lee on signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers!Talk about a unique basketball journey. This Toronto native started out at Princeton, where he was a 2-time First-Team All-Ivy League selection and a major problem for defenders. He packed his bags for Gainesville for his final year, stepped right into the starting lineup, and completely orchestrated the Gators' offense, leading the squad with 147 total assists and helping spearhead a run to the SEC regular-season championship and a No. 1 seed in March Madness. Oh, and he casually did all that while holding down an Academic All-America selection with a 3.62 GPA in economics. Brains and hoops! 🧠🎒
At 6’3”, Xaivian is a pure, lightning-quick lead guard with an absolute elite feel for the game. He plays with that smooth, rhythmic handle, manipulates defenses in the pick-and-roll, and always finds the open man (cracking the top 10 in the SEC in both assists and assist-to-turnover ratio). Cleveland has an incredible track record of finding and developing undrafted diamonds in the rough (look at guys like Max Strus or Dean Wade). Xaivian has the vision and the IQ to be the next one to burst onto the scene. Watch him shift gears and make noise out in Vegas for Summer League this month! From the Swamp to The Land! 🐊➡️ 🍷💛
