HOW TO SWIM WITH THE BALL IN 3 STEPS

1️⃣ Strong Flutter Kick
Keep your kick close to the surface — you should see white water behind you.

2️⃣ Keep Your Elbows High
High elbows help protect the ball and make it harder for defenders to reach it.

3️⃣ Keep Your Head Above the Ball
Stay high in the water with your head above the ball so you can see the pool, control your direction, and make your next decision.

What is the MAIN difference in movement between fakes and slides?

During a fake, you stay vertical with your legs underneath you, ready to shoot immediately.

During a slide, you move into a horizontal position and must fully reset before taking a powerful shot.

Slide. Reset. Shoot.

How good is your ball control?

Try this simple challenge:

Swim 25 meters on your back using only breaststroke kick. Keep the ball dry above the water, and with every kick, pass it from one hand to the other.

If you can complete 1 full lap while keeping the ball dry, your ball control is good.

Try it at your next practice and see how far you can go.
