It all started with an Idea 💡 a blueprint. Pushing and testing and not giving up we are here now.

Today marks another great member meeting as we continue to grow just past 1000 followers on this Instagram. The first post was of a blueprint but the story started way before this Instagram with a blueprint for golfers on . But then it became much more with much deeper and bigger roots.

It’s not an easy road to your dreams and they shouldn’t be but it can be fun and it’s the stories and the people what make it all worth it. Today we improved because we are continuing to building 🪏

Every great club has a guardian at its gates. Ours has Bill.

At 90 years old, Bill stands proudly on the first tee as if it were his post in life’s great duty. He is sharp, his tee sheet folded neatly, and his handshake carries the quiet strength of a man who has dedicated his life to tradition, honor, the game, and protector of peace.

What most members don’t know, and Bill will never tell you, is that before he ever picked up a tee sheet, he was picking up something far heavier. Three tours, heavy machinery, and weapons specialist. Commendations that sit in a drawer at home, never mentioned, never displayed. The kind of service that doesn’t need a frame on the wall because it’s already carved into the man himself. He’s eyes has seen things movies are made of.

His home is the C1ub and when he puts down the tee sheet he continues his day the same way he does everything. Quietly, without ceremony, and straight back to work in “The Pro Shop” behind doors and late into the night.

For decades, Bill has been the keeper of order and the voice of welcome. He has watched champions rise, rookies stumble, and friendships form that would last a lifetime. To many, he is the first face of The Country C1ub, and perhaps its truest symbol: discipline, elegance, and respect wrapped into one man.

The c1ub bears his name not merely to guide members across the grounds, but to remind us how to move through the club with dignity.

Bill teaches us that golf is not just played on fairways and greens. It’s played in conversations, in introductions, and in the networks on and off the course built alongside the game.

Bill is proof that age is no barrier to purpose, and that a single role, embraced fully, can become legendary.

For all his heroic presence, Bill keeps his humor. While he protects the sanctity of the tee sheet with unwavering precision, the whispers around the locker room are clear: slip Bill a crisp $20, and you just might find yourself on the course ahead of schedule.

A war hero, a legend, and perhaps… a man who still knows how to bend the rules for the right members & also how to protect them when the time comes.
