Join us for the LMU Dance Kick-Off on Sunday, August 30th, 10AM-12PM as we launch the 2026–27 academic year.

We’ll share department updates, discuss auditions happening this fall, and reconnect as a community while welcoming our incoming LMU Dance students.

Mandatory for LMU Dance majors; strongly encouraged for minors. Attendance will be taken.

Some photo highlights from this year’s Senior Thesis Concert! It was so incredible to see our seniors’ visions come to life on the stage. We are so excited to congratulate their amazing work these last four years and we can’t wait to see all the things they will accomplish!

SUMMER UNLOCKED PART 2✨
Summer Unlocked was created through the Equitable Commercial Dance Program to connect dancers with commercial-industry internships in LA + NYC. After one-on-one sessions with Director Geri Brown, students interview and are placed in internships aligned with their career goals. This summer, 18 students secured internships, many earning college credit and receiving grants through LMU’s CPD Summer Internship Funding.

LMU Dances annual Screendance Film Festival is coming up on May 1st! Join us in Murphey Recital Hall to see lots of amazing student films! Film viewing will begin at 2:00pm followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers hosted by .

Film gallery viewing will begin after the screening and Q&A.
