Another to Try😍

Speaking of Tumbles, Have you tried Natasha Wang, Pole Teacher ‘s fDip drop and Roll class? This class explores dynamic movement patterns including drops, (faux) flips, tumbles, cast-aways, and other momentum-driven transitions that create the illusion of risk while prioritizing control and technique.

Tonight is your last chance to experience this class before it leaves the schedule!

Starting next Thursday, a whole new class will be coming to take her place. It’s called Photo Shoot Shapes L2.

Here you’ll explore eye-catching angles, unexpected lines, and unconventional shapes designed to make your body look like a sculpture worthy of Michelangelo.

You’ll learn how to find flattering positions, create visual impact, and turn even simple pole poses into camera-ready shapes.

Come expand your movement vocabulary and collect some seriously photogenic poses for your next shoot—or just your next Instagram post. 😍

tips you might find helpful!

Condition the shape from the floor:

• Brace your inside hip against the pole.

• With your outside hand, grab the pole and pull up and across your body.

• Dive your shoulder underneath and create that 90° angle with your arm.

• Get a good squeeze into your armpit—I like to keep the pointer finger down here.

• Once you’re secure, think about stepping on top of yourself and sending lots of energy through your front leg to help lift your bottom leg.

Then take it to the pole:

• Start in a deeply twisted sit.

• Bend your top knee as high as you can to give yourself more room to dive underneath.

• Once your shoulder is firmly underneath
the thigh, straighten the top leg as much as you can.

• Make sure you have a solid armpit connection with that 90° arm before releasing your bottom leg from the pole.

The goal is to create space, connection, and tension before asking your body to let go.

Hope you find these tips helpful 🩷

is a beginner pole dance favorite! She’s such a pretty and elegant shape - but getting into her can feel a little tricky at first. Here are a few key tips for smoothing out your entry

Secure your sit first. Get a really good twist and lock of the hips before you start threading through.

Create length and tension through your legs by sending energy down through your pointed toes—the more downward pressure you create, the more lifted your hips will feel.

Try cup grip. It gives you a little more shoulder mobility and can make threading your chest through a bit easier.

Thread diagonally. Don’t try to dive straight through; the diagonal angle gives your shoulders more room to pass through.

Fold your torso forward as much as you can before wrapping around the pole. -if you have the mobility to wrap your head around the pole, add that in as well.

Save. share. try. And Have Fun! ❤️

If has been on your “I want to learn that… but HOW?” list, here’s a step by step guide right from the floor.
I’d make it a little more natural and polished while keeping your teaching tone:

Learning new shapes from the floor gives you the opportunity to understand what it actually feels like to be in the shape.

It can be a safer, more intentional, and often more efficient way to train—teaching your body the shape first, then teaching it how to get there.

Once your body understands where it’s going, getting there becomes a whole lot easier. ✨

Save this one for your next practice and tag us if you shove it a try!

WHY SUPERMAN HURTS SO MUCH & HOW TO FIX IT

If you’ve ever tried Superman and thought, “Ummmmm… Absolutely Not” 😫 You’re not alone. The good news is… there’s a “simple fix”

One of the biggest reasons it feels so painful in the beginning is that we try to drag that top leg across the pole while simultaneously rotating our hips toward the floor. Ouch!

What we want to do instead is learn to pull that top leg confidently away from the pole BEFORE rotating your hips. This creates the space your body needs to settle into the shape instead of fighting the pole the whole way into it.

This is where practicing your one-handed becomes so valuable.

In order to release that top hand, you first need to learn what it feels like to descend your chest low enough so that your top leg can naturally float away. ( keep your hips, nice and tilted towards the pole so it can continue to comfortably support your weight.)

Practicing this shape will help build the strength and confidence to trust the position as you rotate your hips toward the floor.

Less pressure. More control. Smoother Superman. 💫

Save this tip and give it a try! ❤️

we’re still celebrating our six year anniversary! 🥳.
