After suffering a concussion and a broken nose in March 2012, Kobe Bryant donned a mask for 11 games.

During that stretch he scored 33 points against Miami to lead the Lakers to victory, the team that he was injured playing against.

The next week, still masked, he scored 36 points against the rivaling Boston Celtics, cementing “masked Kobe” as a legend within a legend.

The 1996 USA Basketball Women’s Team is often cited as the best women’s team ever assembled. They dominated the Olympics in Atlanta, going undefeated on their way to a gold medal 🥇

This weekend, the ladies of that team are collectively enshrined in the Basketball HOF for their contributions to the game as well as their accomplishments 🇺🇸

Doc Rivers has been coaching in the NBA since 1999, and in 2008 he served as head coach of the NBA Champion Boston Celtics 🏆

Tomorrow, Doc will officially become a member of the Basketball HOF, honoring his significant achievements as a coach ♟️
