If you have never taken a spin class before, here is what to actually expect when you walk in for the first time. 🚲
The seat height, the handlebars, and the resistance k**b all get adjusted to fit you before you ever start pedaling. You are not expected to know this already.
The class starts with a warm-up. The pace is guided. The instructor tells you when to add resistance and when to ease off. There is music. There is energy in the room. And at no point is anyone looking at what number your resistance is set to.
The hardest part of the whole thing is usually walking through the door the first time.
By the end, most beginners tell us they felt stronger than they expected. And they want to come back.
