Colombia’s Jazmín Álvarez originally joined the World Skateboarding Tour as part of the IOC’s Youth Athlete Development programme, which identifies potential future stars from nations who’s sporting priorities lie elsewhere.

One of the most magnetically-charismatic skateboarders on the Tour, she has made it back from the edge- having seriously blown out her knee during practice at the Paris Olympic Games of 2024.

With no blueprint to follow, Felipe Nunes and Vinicios Sardi had to figure out how to make skateboarding work for them: learning, adapting and developing their own approach to tricks along the way.
