What a blessing this past Saturday was.

Our Fundraising Ride for Philippines Earthquake Relief brought together riders, volunteers, friends, and supporters from different cycling communities, all united by a desire to help those affected by the earthquake in Mindanao.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, rode with us, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. Your generosity and willingness to serve are a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful impact.

A special thank you to Steve Jurado from Steve Jurado for generously sponsoring the food and drinks. We appreciate your support and pray that God continues to bless you and your business.

We are also grateful to Shepherd Church for helping collect and distribute the donations, and to all the cycling clubs and riders who joined us in this effort.

As donations make their way to those affected, we continue to pray for the people of Mindanao, for comfort for those who have suffered loss, strength for those rebuilding, and hope for the communities recovering from this disaster.

This ride was a reminder that being the Salt and Light isn’t just something we say, it’s something we live out through faith, compassion, and service to others.

A devastating earthquake has impacted Mindanao, Philippines, leaving many families facing loss, uncertainty, and a long road to recovery.

Salt+Light Cycling and Shepherd Cycling Group, with the support of fellow cycling clubs, have come together to organize a Fundraising Ride for Philippines Earthquake Relief. Donations raised through this effort will be collected and distributed through Shepherd Church to support relief efforts for those affected in Mindanao. This ride is more than miles on a bike. It is an opportunity for our cycling community to come together and extend hope, compassion, and practical support to those facing the challenges that follow a disaster.

As followers of Christ, we are called to stand with those who are hurting and help bear one another’s burdens. Through this ride, we hope to turn that calling into action.
