People say this all the time… until reality proves otherwise.

Nobody plans on needing self-defense. That’s exactly the point.

You don’t train because you expect violence.
You train because you can’t choose when violence finds you.

The goal isn’t to become a fighter.
The goal is to make it home safely.

Most people don’t lose because they’re weak. They lose because they believed the wrong things.

Self-defense is full of myths that sound logical… until they fail when it matters most.

The goal isn’t to live in fear.
It’s to be prepared so you don’t have to.

Tomorrow marks 6 years since awarded me my blue belt, today I earned my purple belt from .jiujitsu I just want to say thank you to both of these instructors for teaching me so much, thank you to all of my training partners each one of you has helped me along the way, but especially we have spent so much time on the mats together. I also want to give a huge shoutout to my wife for always being cool with me spending so much time on the mats and pursue my passion! Thank you everyone, today we celebrate, tomorrow we are back in the mats!
