Dolly Parton Tribute Part 2

I had a neighbor across the street who did not like the fact that I had large numbers of people coming to my yoga class and always parking in front of his house. He would never say hi to me, he would just look down when he was watering the lawn.
One day, Dolly pulled up in her station wagon with a Nashville license plate while he was watering the lawn. I saw him do a double take when she got out of the car.
That afternoon, he came over, knocked on my door, and said, “Was that Dolly Parton?”
I said, “Yes.”
He said, “Is there any way I can meet her?”
I told him I would ask her, so I shared the whole story with Dolly. She said, “No problem, darling.” She walked right over, knocked on his door, and shook his hand.
From that day on, I could park in his driveway, and he welcomed every single one of my students who parked in front of his house.

Growing up and teaching Yoga in Los Angeles I have had my share of big celebrity clients. But none of them were as kind, sincere and generous as Dolly Parton.
She used to drive to my home studio in Mar Vista CA.  Once the neighbors found out, I never had so many best friends,ha ha.
I also introduced Dolly to Dr Evarts Loomis MD the father of holistic medicine located in Hemet CA. I recommended his juice fast and holistic cleansing process. When the town found out Dolly was coming, they had to build a fence around his establishment known as meadowlark. Dolly liked her polarity therapist and purchased a motel to do her own treatments. It is now a landmark in Hemet.
