🤯 This is going to blow your mind…
Google Trends just revealed that “Digital Detox” is the #1 wellness search of the year.
Maybe that’s because we’re finally realizing that the best way to reconnect with life… is to disconnect from our phones.

Health wasn’t the lesson…
Hosting Tony Robbins Life Mastery was such an honor, and getting to facilitate The Power of Certainty exercise reminded me of something so powerful.
We all have a Winning Formula.
A set of ingredients we’ve used to take something that was once invisible — a dream, a vision, a goal — and make it visible in our lives.
But we can only become aware of that formula when we slow down and communicate with ourselves.
When we ask:
What did I believe?
What did I do?
What steps did I take?
Who did I become in the process?
That awareness creates certainty.
And certainty creates confidence.
Because confidence grows when we have evidence that we can make our dreams a reality.
This is why Step One of my C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Method is communication with self.
Because before we can create deeper connection with others…
we have to learn how to connect with ourselves.
Everything starts with communication.
It’s not about perfection…
When we delay communication because we’re trying to say it perfectly, we usually make things worse — and waste two of our most precious assets: our time and our energy.
It’s about connection.
If this was helpful, share it and tag me. 🤍
Before you pick your phone back up… remember this…
This weekend reminded me that real connection doesn’t happen when we’re half-present.
It happens in the conversations.
The laughter.
The eye contact.
The moments we almost miss when we’re scrolling.
Human connection creates trust.
Trust creates opportunity.
And opportunity moves us forward.
So don’t just practice connection on holidays.
Practice it today.
Put the phone down.
Ask the question.
Have the real conversation.
That’s where life happens.
Dorothy traveled all the way to Oz looking for what she already had within her.
And we do the same.
We search for happiness in the next achievement, the next relationship, the next opportunity, the next “there.”
But happiness doesn’t start out there.
It starts within.

Before you ever walk out on stage again, remember this:
The loudest voice isn’t always the truest one.
Get quiet.
Listen to your gut.
Connect within.
And surround yourself with the people who bring you back to who you really are.
What we write is a reflection of who we are.
And somewhere along the way, this generation started losing the art of putting thought, care, and intention into words.
Writing is communication.
Writing is connection.
Writing is a piece of us.
So let’s bring it back.
Because in a world where so much of our communication happens through written words… we have to take the time to make those words conscious, clear, and human.
It’s time to CONSCIOUSLY CONNECT🙌
Here’s the reason people dislike working with you…
And it’s not because you’re not great at what you do.
It’s not because you don’t bring value.
It may be because of something much simpler…
You’re never on time.
When you show up 5, 10, even 15 minutes late to a Zoom, presentation, or meeting, it creates disconnection.
It can make people wonder:
“If they can’t show up on time for this… can I trust them to do the job?”
Time is one of our most precious assets.
So remember this:
Early is on time.
On time is late.
Respect the time.
Build the trust.

Because the truth is… opportunities don’t always just show up.
Sometimes, you have to speak up.
Reach out.
Follow the nudge.
Make the move.

They only see the final result.
They see the moment on stage.
The confidence.
The ease.
The message landing.
The connection happening in real time.
But they don’t see what came before it.
The hours of practice.
The repetition.
The nerves.
The moments of getting it wrong.
The commitment to doing it again… and again… and again.
That has been true my entire life.
As a performer on Broadway.
As an actress in film.
And now as a speaker, host, and author.
The result people see is never just the result.
It’s muscle memory.
It’s preparation.
It’s state.
It’s discipline.
It’s choosing to put in the work when no one is clapping yet.
Because practice doesn’t make perfect.
Practice makes progress.
Practice builds trust in yourself.
Practice turns something you once had to think about into something your body knows how to do.
And when it comes to communication and connection, this matters.
If we want to be powerful communicators…
If we want to create real connection…
If we want to walk into a room and make people feel something…
We have to do the work.
There is no shortcut that replaces hard work.
The final result may look effortless.
But effortless is earned.
