We have a group great of guys next up for Meet us May - The Turf Team! We asked them, "What is the most unusual or memorable thing you've seen happen on the course?" They said: Rich Parker - Superintendent (25yrs) - The 2021 4th of July Fireworks. It was the first year Fox Hill hosted the event and we didn't know what to expect. I thoroughly enjoy the logistical side of managing events from golf tournaments to fireworks and I truly had the best seat in the house.
Cole Barton, Asst. Superintendent (15yrs) - 09/11/2019, a hot air balloon landed on #2 fairway
Drew Williams, 2nd Assistant (7yrs) - Glow Golf has always been a highlight of mine. Everything from the setup toe glow balls in flight is always a spectacular sight.
Dusten "Red" Fritchell, Equipment Technician (1yr) - I love watching the sunrise at Fox Hill. Taking the greens mower out and hitting that first line while the sun comes up is always a special moment worth capturing
Ryan Vaughn, Crew Leader (5yrs) - The appreciation from the Fox Hunt participants when the Turf Team photo is being taken
Garrett Collins, Horticulturalist (4yrs) - Watching the variety of wildlife throughout the course, especially in the mornings. Everything from bald eagles, pelicans, osprey, fox, deer, & the occasional rattlesnake.
Give our Turf Team some love and let them know what the most memorable or unusual thing you've seen happen on the course!

Next up in our Meet Us May series is the Food & Beverage team. From left to right, we have Clay, F& B Service Manager (3 years), Inan, Sous Chef (2 weeks), Krysta, Restaurant Supervisor (3 years), and Tom, F & B Director & Executive Chef (4 years).
We asked them: What would your death row meal be?
Clay went all in with an assortment of cotton candy, Pop Rocks, Dippin’ Dots, every Hi-Chew from Gracie’s desk, Chef Tom’s wife’s Guinness cupcakes, and an adult root beer. Keeping things simple, Inan chose one singular red grape. Krysta selected penne arrabbiata with bruschetta, a gin mojito, and Chef Tom’s wife’s Guinness cupcakes. And last but not least, Chef Tom chose his mom’s mac and cream cheese with pork chops, his wife’s Guinness cupcakes, and a side of Grogu’s blue milk.
Safe to say we got quite the range of answers. Now we want to hear from you—what would your death row meal be?

Meet Us May!
Our next department highlight are the ladies of the Membership team, Rebecca (4 years, Membership Director) and Gracie (4 years, Member Engagement Director)!
We asked them: What is the perfect summer day for you?
Rebecca said a day out on the boat skiing, and tubing then sitting around a campfire making s'mores and sleeping under the stars. Gracie said by the beach at a tropical destination with a margarita in hand and many trips swimming in the ocean.
With summer coming up we'd like to know, what is your perfect summer day?

Meet Us May!
Throughout the month of May, we’ll be introducing you to the different departments at Fox Hill so you can put names to faces and get to know the team a little better!
First up: the Golf Shop crew. From left to right—Logan, Assistant Golf Professional (4 years), Brett, Director of Golf (4 years), and Mike, Assistant Golf Professional (3 years).
We asked them: If you could play an entire round with just one club, what would it be and why? Logan is going with his 7-iron partly because it’s his lucky number, but also because the club is versatile enough to handle just about any shot. Brett would choose his 8-iron for its all-around reliability from approach shots to chipping, and even the occasional putt. Mike is also taking his 8-iron, a longtime favorite that gives him the flexibility to hit full shots, punch shots, or around the greens.
Now it’s your turn! If you had to play a round with just one club, what would you choose and why?
