Congratulations to our Summer of Motivation 2026 raffle winners!
As you will learn down the road, the real rewards will have been the lessons learned, the discipline gained, and the growth that happens when you continue to work consistently towards your goals !
Those gains become priceless and will follow you into all aspects of your life! 👊☝️

🏆🥋 Congratulations to our Students of the Month: Uriah & Francisco!

⭐ Uriah — Under 11 Student of the Month
Uriah consistently shows up ready to work! He is respectful, coachable, hardworking, and a great teammate. Whether he’s in Basic Training, Sparring, or Jiu-Jitsu, he brings the same positive attitude and effort to the mats. Most importantly, he leads by example. Keep it up, Uriah! 👊

⭐ Francisco — 12+ Student of the Month
Francisco continues to work consistently toward his Black Belt goal, understanding that real improvement comes from showing up and putting in the work. He is strong, kind, and respectful, while also showing compassion and control with his training partners. All qualities that help everyone around him improve too.

We’re proud of both of these young men for representing some of what Power of One is about: effort, respect, consistency, and leadership. ❤️🖤

Congratulations, Uriah & Francisco! Keep growing! 🥋👊☝️

The above study proves the benefits of Martial Arts but we all knew this already!
Starting martial arts as young kids 40+ years ago we knew and gained these benefits ourselves. It was our single most motivating factor in opening Power of One Self Defense in the 1990’s before training was mainstream. Since this time we have had the pleasure of watching tens of thousands of students learn, gain and grow into their best selves. From Confidence, to discipline, focus and even leadership!
We have watched all 3 of our own kids gain, grow and learn through their youth as well now all ages 15-21! Martial arts when taught properly is PRICELESS.

It truly takes a village and at Power of One, that village is made up of our incredible instructors, students, and families. 👊☝️

We come from different walks of life, with different experiences, opinions, and perspectives, but we share something important: a commitment to creating a healthy, positive environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger together.

Thank you, Power of One families, for the energy, encouragement, and support you bring to our community. We rise by helping each other rise. 🥋☝️
