Have you done your InBody yet this week? 👀

It’s Progress Check-In Week at The Rough House!

If you’re a member, this is your reminder to take a few minutes to check in, reflect on how things are going, and see how your hard work is translating into progress.

📊 Members can complete an InBody scan as part of their check-in to help track changes over time.

And remember: progress isn’t just a number on a scan. It’s how you’re feeling, what you’re lifting, the habits you’re building, and how you’re moving toward your goals.

Don’t forget to complete your Progress Profile and connect with your trainer this week.

Let’s see where you’re at — and keep moving forward. 💪

🎉 He may not be the one looking for the spotlight, but today we’re putting him in it anyway!

Help us wish Colin, the heart behind The Rough House, a very happy birthday! 🥳

This gym is so much more than a place to work out — it’s a community of people who show up for each other, push each other, and genuinely care about one another. And a huge part of that is because of the time, energy, and heart Colin has put into building this place.

We’re lucky to have you — even if you’d probably rather we didn’t make a big deal about it. ❤️

I promise we’re ALL excited about Colin’s birthday… even if a certain someone didn’t quite understand the assignment. 😂

Happy Birthday, Colin! We love you and hope you have the best day! ❤️🎂💪

Hi everyone, Colin here.

I don’t usually find myself behind the gym’s social media, but I wanted to share something very personal to Eve and me.

The past month and a half has changed our lives in ways we never could have imagined. Since Eve’s breast cancer diagnosis, our gym family has surrounded us with more love and support than we could have ever expected. You have continued to show us that we are not alone in this fight.

We see it. We feel it. And we are so incredibly grateful. ❤️

One of the biggest things we’ve learned through all of this is just how much research matters. When cancer wasn’t part of our lives, I don’t think we fully understood what that meant. Now we see that the treatments and options available to Eve today are the result of years of research. And the research happening today could mean better treatments, more options, and more hope for the people who face a diagnosis like this in the future.

Some incredible friends created Team We BeliEVE for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 4th at Cantigny Park.

We’re sharing this because this cause has become incredibly meaningful to our family. There is no expectation to do anything—we simply wanted to invite you to be part of it if you’d like.

If you’d like to walk with us, we’d love to have you on Team We BeliEVE. The link to join is in the comments and in our bio. If you’d like to support breast cancer research, you can donate there as well. And if all you do is share this post, cheer Eve on, or keep her in your thoughts, please know that means the world to us.

Our gym has always taught us that we’re stronger together.

I just never imagined how much those words would mean outside the gym.

We BeliEVE. 💗

OUR VALUES | Value #5: Strength for Life 💪

Strength isn’t just about lifting heavier weights. It’s about building a body that can support you for the long haul.

We believe strength is the foundation for lifelong health, performance, and confidence. Being strong helps you move through life with greater capability—from the gym to the things you love doing every day.

And this isn’t just something we believe because we’re a gym. The science supports it: strength matters. Building and maintaining strength throughout life is one of the best investments you can make in your future self.

We aren’t training just for today. We’re building strength for life.

🎉 Help us wish Mike a very happy 25th birthday! 🎉

Because apparently we’ve decided The Rough House is just a birthday party now. 😂 Third trainer birthday in the last month, and we’re not mad about it.

Happy 25th, Mike! We’re lucky to have you at The Rough House — hope you have an awesome birthday! 💪🎂

OUR VALUES | Value #4: Movement Quality First 🔴⚫️

This one is at the heart of what we do.

We believe moving well builds a stronger, safer, and more resilient body. Before we add more weight, we want to make sure you can control the movement, own the position, and perform it with quality.

In a fitness world that often celebrates how much you can lift, we believe how you move matters just as much as how much you lift.

Heavy weight with poor movement isn’t the goal. We want to build strength that lasts—and that starts with mastering the basics.

Move well. Build strength. Stay resilient.

OUR VALUES | Value #3: Effort & Accountability

Results don’t happen by accident. They come from showing up, putting in the work, and taking ownership of the process.

We believe effort matters—and so does accountability. You don’t have to be perfect, but you do have to be willing to take responsibility for where you are, where you want to go, and the work it takes to get there.

Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone. It’s built in those moments when you choose to push a little further, do the hard thing, and hold yourself to a higher standard.

Show up. Put in the effort. Own your progress. Keep growing.

Happy 50th birthday to our amazing trainer, Shana! 🥳

We may have missed celebrating you last week while you were soaking up the sun in Hawaii🌴, but we’re making up for it today! ❤️

We’re so grateful for the energy, encouragement, and dedication you bring to our gym and to everyone you train. We hope you feel extra celebrated today—you deserve it! 🎂🎁✨

Cheers to 50 and all the incredible years ahead! 🥂💪

Help us wish Shana a very happy 50th birthday in the comments! ❤️

OUR VALUES | Value #2: Consistency Over Intensity

You don’t need to crush yourself every time you train. You need to keep showing up.

We believe long-term consistency beats short bursts of extreme effort. The best training program is one you can recover from, stick with, and continue building on week after week.

There will be days when you feel strong and days when you don’t. There will be hard sessions and easier ones. What matters most is continuing to put in the work over time.

Don’t burn yourself out. Live to lift another day.

Small efforts, repeated consistently, create big results. 🔴⚫️
