This weekend, two of our students tested themselves at one of the biggest kids tournaments out there. No participation medals, no broken-down brackets, no double elimination—just high-level competitors from across the country.
We didn’t come home with the golds we hoped for, but there was still a lot to be proud of.
🥈🥈 Cora earned double silver, winning some impressive matches and showing a strong mindset throughout the weekend. Both finals were incredibly close, and she showed she’s right there with the best.
🥉Olivia battled through a stacked bracket and lost her semifinal by just 2 points to the eventual champion.
Sometimes the biggest gains from competition aren’t medals. They’re learning how to handle adversity, control your mindset, and keep moving forward even when hit with challenges.
And big congrats to the other JG competitors and academies! We are truly starting to make a name on the big stage!
Proud of both of these girls and the way they represented JG Academy. Back to work—and on to the next one!
