If you've bought so much as a water bottle from us since we opened in June — THIS is what you helped make happen. Thank you, seriously.

Over Labor Day weekend we hosted the Smallfoot Mountain Weekend here in Lock Haven and it was a blast. Over 200 kids showed up to run our 8th annual Smallfoot Trail Fest on Saturday, and then a crew of them came back Sunday for the brand new Smallfoot Bike Fest — our first ever kids mountain bike endurance event.

Here's the thing: these events are 100% free for every kid and family who shows up. No cost, no barriers, just kids out on the trails, splashing through creeks, running over rocks and through mud, having fun. And that's only possible because of you.

Every purchase you make at Rox and River goes straight back into getting kids right here in our area (and beyond!) outdoors and active — through our non-profit activities, including the Smallfoot Mountain Weekend, the Rocksylvania Kids Trail Race Series, and our Wild Runners program.

So next time you grab gear from us, know you're not just outfitting yourself — you're giving a kid their shot to grow up wilder and fall in love with the outdoors, just like you. 🏃‍♀️⛰️🚵

Gorgeous day for a paddle down the hill and around the island with some of the Rox and River crew. That upstream section just about got us 🥵 but it's all worth it when you've got Birch waiting for you at the end! 🐾
