When you start getting serious about your goals, not everyone is going to understand why you’re skipping the drinks, getting up early, protecting your time, or saying no more often.
And that’s okay.
Sometimes growth means changing your habits… and sometimes it means changing who gets access to your time and energy.
Your goals don’t have to make sense to everyone. They just have to matter to you.
Explain this to people - one time- if they still give you a hard time for not doing the things that don’t support your goals- they aren’t your people..

Lock in.
Don’t quit.
Don’t wait to start.
The years, the months, the weeks, the days - all pass - whether you wait or not.
Time doesn’t start and stop with your training goals -
There’s never a wrong time to start
There’s never a right time to stop

Let’s talk about lunges!
Video 1: walking lunge
The first few reps are a knee dominant version.
The front foot is staying flat and we’re letting the knee travel as far forward as we can.
The second variation is more hip dominant.
We’re keeping the front shin, vertical and dropping our hips straight down.
Video 2: Reverse lunge(hip dominant)
Take a bigger step back and load that front hip keeping the front shin vertical.
Video 3: Reverse lunge (elevated)
When doing the reverse lunge from a step, we stay knee dominant and let the front shin bend as much as possible.
Video 4: elevated lunge( hip dominant)
When doing a hip dominant reverse stay knee dominant and let the front shin bend as much as possible.

Discipline > Motivation
Motivation is a surge of energy.
It creates the “I want too” feeling.
It passes. It doesn’t last.
Discipline takes work, dedication and an established consistent routine.
Enjoy the motivation when it comes. Dont rely on it to keep you moving forward.
It won’t.
Discipline is what keeps you moving forward.
It’s not flashy.
It’s not a burst of “feel good” energy.
It’s a part of your life, your goals and commitment.
If you want to or not, you do it.
You get it done.
That’s when that
surge of energy comes consistently. That feeling of accomplishment.
No one said it is easy- that’s probably why pre- workout was invented 😉

If people measured their Nutrition more than they measure their steps they’d have far better results.
Most people don’t follow fitness-they follow trends.
They don’t chase health-they chase the crowd.
And years later,
they wonder why
nothing changed
Your coach should be able to help you with your nutrition- it doesn’t have to be a scientific formulation-
It’s suggesting - and checking in-about :
-macros
-Tweaks to your diet
-Quick ways to add protein
-Maybe even a meal plan idea or recipes
If your coach is just training you in the gym- but not asking you about your diet, lifestyle or daily habits-
They aren’t optimizing your time in the gym and overall goals - it’s all a package deal -
Coaches/ trainers aren’t nutritionists - but they should have the nutrition basics and knowledge in regard to how it affects your fitness and your goals!
Our coaches do this!
They have the knowledge.
They understand and educate their clients about the relationship between diet and exercise
