As you prepare to attend the gymkhana this Saturday K-C Arena is reminding you that there are still ACTIVE CASES of strangles in our surrounding neighborhoods.

If your horses are sick, please stay home.

Do not use the water troughs. Bring your own water bucket to water your horses.

Tie your horses to your personal trailer.

Clean up around the area where your horses were tied when you leave.

Keep a horse length between you and other horses while waiting at the gate or warming up your horse.

Saturday, September 12th will be our 6th Gymkhana. We will not reschedule the canceled August gymkhana. Gates will be open at 6:30. Sign up at 8:00. Gymkhana starts at 9:00. Events will be: Washington Poles, Birangle, Single Stake, Speed Ball, Clover Barrels. Cost is $35.00 for the day. Speed Divisions 1 through 7, plus 8 & Under (division 7) and Lead Line. Maddisen’s Treatery and Efren’s Tacos will be providing food. KC Arena is located at 4520 Robin Avenue, Livingston 95334.

RD Ranch Thursday night barrel races canceled for a few upcoming weeks.

RD Ranch in Turlock has CANCELED the barrel race scheduled for tonight, August 13, 2026.

KC ARENA HAS DECIDED TO CANCEL THE SCHEDULED GYMKHANA FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th, DUE TO THE PREDICTED HIGH TEMPERATURE.

We will try to reschedule the August Gymkhana if we can find a Saturday without any horse events. Otherwise, we have two (2) gymkhanas, September and October left for the series.

This week we are watching the temperatures at KC Arena. We are going ahead with our planned Fun Night Wednesday, August 5th. We will set up events that you would love to practice. Gates open at 6:00 and we will pick up some pizza for dinner after people start arriving.

Saturday, August 8th, is our planned gymkhana. Once again we will be running fast events and keep the day going to beat the heat. Gates will be open at 6:30 and the show starts at 8:00 a.m.
