Onondaga Yacht Club The Onondaga Yacht Club, located in Onondaga Lake Park, is a great place to enjoy sailing and all of the wonderful things that come with it.

OYC, is first and foremost a reflection of its members. We are a group of people who enjoy the outdoors, find fun and challenge in both the physical and intellectual aspects of sailing. We have a passion for the environment and a passion for fun. We are NOT an exclusive "Yacht Club" and encourage anyone with an interest in sailing to visit us and learn all the great things we enjoy from it. A brief history:
The Onondaga Yacht Club was founded in 1883, making us one of the oldest clubs in the country. In 1937-38 a lease agreement was made with the County for the present clubhouse site. Construction of the first unit was started in the Spring of 1938; it was formally opened July 23, 1938.
