Day one on Lake LBJ with Jerad Pool and Hill Country Hammer Guides & Outfitters. Got out for some pre fishing and some lessons from Jerad, what a day! A new PB 10.89 largemouth. One more day around the lake tomorrow and the guide trips will start for me.

Got the boat out yesterday as it’s time for my annual trek to Texas for a month or so. I will be helping out my buddy Jerad at Hill Country Hammer Guides & Outfitters. I will be chasing White Bass, Guadalupe Bass and most certainly GIANT Largemouth Bass. My adventure will start with a quick stop at Bob's Lake Fork Guide Service with my great friend then onto Kingsland for a few weeks on Lake LBJ and Lake Buchanan. My time in Texas will wind down with a week or so guiding on the hottest lake in the country O.H Ive and some true monsters bass! I will greatly miss my Joan and will look forward to her arrival so we can spend a few days playing before we head back to kickoff the Smallmouth season in Door County! I am very excited, fortunate and truly blessed to be able to do have these adventures. So thankfully for great friends and most importantly my Joni for her love, patience and understanding while I chase my dreams!
