If you haven’t bought your license do it now!
Archery season starts this Saturday, Sept. 19!
Deer hunters, know before you go 👇
We have a new electronic licensing system. If you've hunted in Minnesota before, you've got an existing account you need to connect with the new system. To avoid any delays, get that connected now. Step-by-step instructions and a how-to video are available here: mndnr.gov/rlp/els.html ✅
You can buy your hunting license online (mndnr.gov/licenses/online-sales.html), through our new app MNDNR Licensing, or in-person at a participating retailer. Some retailers are no longer selling hunting licenses. Find a local retailer here: mndnr.gov/licenses/agents-map.html ⚠️
The process for validating and registering your deer harvest has changed with the new system. Physical tags are no longer required to be attached to the animal. Harvest opportunities have increased for 43 deer permit areas. Check yours: mndnr.gov/hunting/deer/map.html 📈
Crossbows are allowed for all licensed archery hunters to use throughout the archery season. 🎯
We wish you a successful harvest and happy hunting! 🧡
