📣 COACH SPOTLIGHT: Jamie Iannicelli 📣

Join the Newsome Athletic Booster Club in recognizing our incredible Head Coach for Varsity Cheerleading, Jamie Iannicelli! 🐺💙

Coach Iannicelli brings an extensive background in performing arts and athletics to our Wolves, with experience spanning cheerleading, dance, pom poms, theater, and even serving as an anchor for the Montclair State News Program. As a lifelong performer, she channels her energy into inspiring and mentoring our student-athletes through choreography, routine creation, and skill development.

What makes coaching so special to her?

Athlete Growth: Watching the team build confidence, character, and leadership both on and off the mat.

Strong Culture: Fostering a program rooted in commitment, teamwork, respect, and pride alongside dedicated assistant coaches Ingrid Velazques and Michelle Mayberrie.

Mentorship: Connecting with athletes as individuals and building meaningful, positive relationships across the program.

Join us in celebrating this week’s Newsome Athletic Booster Club Spotlight Athlete, Ronald Ramos from Boys Cross Country!

Ronald, a senior captain, delivered an incredible performance with a 7th overall finish at the George Whitmire Invitational, helping cement an overall team victory for the Wolves! 🏆

Ronald has been setting the tone since day one of summer conditioning. His hard work and dedication continue to inspire the entire team to put in the effort and set the stage for success this season. We can’t wait to see the big things he and the team accomplish this year!
