A lot of people think that it’s not time for this to happen - but Thank You Jesus that nobody knows the date except God - Himself. What if we are closer than you think. Are you using your time wisely?
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Our time here on earth is an infinitely precious commodity. Each and every day, we get so many hours and minutes deposited to our accounts. We can hold tight to those minutes, using them wisely, or we can neglect them with useless pursuits.
But soon the day will come—like it or not—when we are down to our final minute. We need to use our time well.
In the Psalms, David wrote about how fleeting life can be:
“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.
Remind me that my days are numbered—
how fleeting my life is.
5 You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand.
My entire lifetime is just a moment to you;
at best, each of us is but a breath.”
—Psalm 39:4-5 (NLT)
That concept of “numbered days” isn’t just an Old Testament idea. Paul wrote something very similar in his New Testament letter to the Ephesians:
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.—Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)
He adds other thoughts to this reality in the Book of Romans:
This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. 13 Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.—Romans 13:11-14 (NLT)
“Time is running out,” Paul writes. “The night is almost gone.”
Our days are numbered and the days are evil. It’s late. We are to make the most of every opportunity because the day of our salvation is coming soon.
These Bible passages should remind us, every day, of the fact that Jesus Christ is coming back again! The signs of the times visible in our culture echo this idea. We are nearing the end. We could be hurtled into eternity in the blink of an eye.
A Heartbeat Away
It could happen through the Rapture or it can happen at death. That is why we always need to be prepared and ready to meet the Lord at all times. We don’t know when the end of our lives will come.
It might happen at the end of THE world.
Or it might happen at the end of OUR world.
All of us, right now, are a heartbeat away from eternity. It could arrive in the twinkling of an eye. Are we making our final minutes count? God has given us a precious gift, so make every day of your life mean something.
Serve other people.
Love your family.
Spend time with your friends and community.
Do good works.
Contribute to society.
Gather regularly with believers.
Give generously to your church.
Enjoy the world God has created for us.
Tell others about Jesus.
Worship God! (Yes, you’ll worship Him for eternity but your opportunities to worship Him during this life are limited.)
Don’t waste the opportunities you’ve been given on earth. Instead, take advantage of them! Keep one foot in heaven and keep another foot on earth, because Jesus is coming soon.
