This bike had a vision — and its rider made it happen.
What started as a Specialized Rockhopper was reimagined into a single speed gravel explorer built for simplicity, versatility, and a little rule-breaking fun.
The rider had the frame and fork custom painted before the build (decals coming later), and we handled the transformation from there.
🚲 Swept drop bars with ergonomic grips tucked under the bar tape for comfort on long days
⚙️ Single speed drivetrain with the option to swap wheels and return to 10-speed
⬆️ Dropper post to get the saddle out of the way for steep descents, rough gravel, and sketchy sections
🔒 Remote shock lockout for quick efficiency when the terrain smooths out
🛞 700×45 tires to confidently blur the line between road, gravel, and trail
