Congratulations to all of our winners this past Saturday at our B2S bash! Prizes included Pokemon cards, restaurant gift cards and two drones! Thank you for bringing your guests and we wish you a fantastic school year!
This week: Classes as usual with some special considerations: Tuesday is stripe night for Dragons.

For years we have been teaching the students and families of the Lincoln Karate Clinic prevention techniques from sexual abuse. Unfortunately, this is a necessity as sexual assault of minors is far too common. We also believe in our own, ongoing training to stay up to date in the latest trends and prevention techniques.
Trainings are required for all of our instructors/staff members. There is never an exception to this requirement. We believe all coaches, instructors, and anyone working with children and teens should be required to complete trainings in sexual abuse awareness and prevention. Yes, this includes other activities besides martial arts.

Happy Friday everyone! Reminder that tomorrow at 12:15p is our B2S bash for students! We will have our 10:30a, 11a, 11:30a classes as usual though. And, the TICKET TORNADO contest drawings will be held tomorrow as well!

Nathanael recently completed the 2nd Lady's Summer Reading Challenge! In addition to receiving a letter and bookmark, he'll be entered into a drawing for a chance a visit Washington D.C. and the White House! Way to go!

While most of our students started school last week we do have some starting this week so we hope your B2S days are filled with fun, happiness and connections to new friends and teachers! Speaking of new friends and connections...This Saturday (22nd) is our annual B2S bash for students and their friends! Please sign up if attending! And, we will be having our Ticket Tornado Drawings at the party as well! Free to attend!

Self-respect means that we appreciate ourselves and see our own worth! We don’t have to be perfect in order to have self-respect. In fact, self-respect means we can look at where we need to improve, without thinking less of ourselves. This month at Lincoln Karate Clinic, we are challenging our students to focus on a few techniques to improve, and then to compliment themselves for their hard work!
