ISO - Adult Amateur’s dream horse 🦄

Looking to find a kind, experienced, and SAFE partner for a petite adult amateur client hoping to enjoy low level dressage, quiet trail rides, and weekend barn days doting over her horse.

🌟Wish list🌟

🔹8-15 years old
🔹Under 16.1h
🔹Solid lower level dressage foundation - We don’t need clean changes or an outrageous show resume, but a solid first / second level citizen to teach the basics of connection and lateral work would be wonderful.
🔹Comfortable gaits - easy to maintain a balanced position.
🔹Trail experience - doesn’t need to have logged extensive trail miles of treacherous terrain, but a quiet and confident Buddy to hack outside of the arena is ideal.
🔹Open to QUIET warmblood breeds and SAFE large ponies / honies - please NO Arabians
🔹Generally speaking more “whoa than go” type, but nothing that needs a cattle prod to pick up the trot and canter, a dressage whip is fine though.
🔹Enjoyable ground manners - buyer loves to groom, graze, and spend loads of time with her horses out of the saddle. Horse needs to enjoy the company of its people and be easy to manage on the ground.
🔹Reasonable maintenance for age and resume is absolutely fine!
🔹Budget is 2️⃣5️⃣ 🥕🥕🥕
🔹Western United States only please.

10 year old, 16.2H, Hanoverian gelding.
USDF record through 2nd level and scores up to 68% with an AA rider. Prime would love a rider looking to learn the correct basics at 1st and 2nd level, and has been introduced to changes. He is a straight forward horse who has been amateur owned and produced since he was 4 years old.
Some routine maintenance is required to keep him happily performing at his best and current sale price reflects that. He is up to date on all maintenance and in a full training program until sold.

Atticus is a genuine lower level packer looking for his next JR or AA rider. He has a very competitive record in eventing with several top 5 finishes having both JR and adult amateur riders in the irons. Most recently he brought home a 4th place in a large JR novice division at Twin Rivers Horse Trials. Atticus is incredibly well schooled in the dressage as well, knowing all the 3rd level work including a clean change each way.

He is a very straightforward ride and comfortably more “whoa than go” making him ideal for a rider ready to start their competitive career on a “been there done that” type of horse. Auto changes on course with a super natural rhythm. Atticus could easily transition into the hunter / jumper world and would happily pack around from the cross rails to the .90’s.

Some maintenance required, up to date on everything and in full training until sold.

🌟IN BARN FULL LEASE AVAILABLE🌟

Sparticle aka Scooby is currently available for an in-barn lease at JB Sport Horses in Lincoln, CA.

Scooby is a 15.3h, 10 year old gelding who is an absolutely wonderful lower level jumper and eventer. He’s a BLAST to jump and as honest as they come! He doesn’t need an advanced rider, but he does prefer someone well balanced and would be best suited for an intermediate + rider.

Scooby will happily hack out outside of the arena alone or with company and is a very easy keeper!

Lease requires 2 lesson + 1 training ride / week.

Facility is beautifully maintained, with large covered and lit GGT footing arena. Stalls cleaned and bedded daily, horses fed 3 x / day, daily turnout and full service care.

100 Miles from Tahoe to Auburn and these two superstars made it home! Their first Tevis and the first Tevis for the horses they rode, these two girls never cease to amaze me. I had absolutely nothing to do with their Tevis success and when they started throwing the word around they heard a lot of noise about it from me, but WOW they did it and my heart exploded watching them trot through the finish together! For the last 24 hours I have been constantly tracking them, watching live feeds, and anxiously awaiting text updates. When I saw they made it out of their final vet check neither Hell nor high water would have kept me from watching them finish.
I love you girls, you are amazing humans and incredible role models to the littlest little in our crew (who thinks you both walk on water). Thanks for bringing me to tears more than once on your ride and for letting me be a part of your big moments ❤️
