🐎 WHO REMEMBERS SKIP JOSEPH? 🐎

In 1963, Skip Joseph made Montana high school rodeo history by becoming the NHSRA Ba****ck Champion.

More than 60 years later, we're getting ready to welcome Skip into the Montana High School Rodeo Association Hall of Fame.

But we're wondering...

Who remembers Skip Joseph?

Were you there when he won the 1963 NHSRA Ba****ck Championship? Did you compete alongside him? Know his family? Maybe you have an old photograph, rodeo program, newspaper clipping, or a story that deserves to be remembered.

Skip's Hall of Fame honor will be accepted by Nicole Joseph at the 1st Annual MT High School Rodeo Hall of Fame Dinner on September 18.

It's so good to be back on the high school rodeo trail. Thank you to all who joined us in Lewistown for the first rodeo of the 2026-2027 season. Congratulations to the outstanding student athletes who took home wins and all those who gave their best efforts.

We are so thankful for the committees and the wonderful job they do hosting our rodeos. Without your commitments the next generation of rodeo would not have these opportunities.

It's RODEO WEEK in Montana.

This first high school/jr. high rodeo of the season takes place this weekend in Lewistown. The weekend will start off with the cutting and cowhorse on Friday with two full days of rodeo to follow.
