UNL Rodeo and there first day of school!
We are so ready for this year, GBR!!!

Our final summer highlight features Hayden Schultz, who has been hard at work these past few months. Hayden spent his summer with Frontier Cooperative on the safety team, gaining hands‑on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.

Hayden has also stayed active in the arena, helping at rodeos throughout the summer and continuing to represent the UNL Rodeo Team with dedication both on and off the dirt.

Thank you Hayden for all of your hard work!

Club member Clayton Lindley has been putting in serious work this summer through his internship with Rezac Farms. He’s taken on a wide range of responsibilities, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple areas of row‑crop production and agriculture technology.

Clayton has spent the season hauling seed and fertilizer, keeping planting and application running smoothly. He’s also stepped into the tech side of modern agriculture by working with a drone, assembling a spraying trailer, and learning how to operate the drone‑spray applications. Along with that, he’s been working on pivots and hauling corn to the elevator, rounding out a full skill set in crop management and farm operations.

It’s been a busy, productive summer, and Clayton continues to represent the UNL Rodeo Team with hard work and dedication both in and out of the arena.

Kylee Ruff has been staying busy this summer working for Ruff Grading, a mass‑grading company based out of Gretna, NE, where she helps with day‑to‑day office tasks and operations.

When she is not working she is rodeoing, here are a few highlights:
• Placed in the barrels at the Cherokee, IA Pro Rodeo in May
• Placed in the breakaway at the Mid‑States Rodeo in Sutherland, NE

Outside the arena, Kylee has been giving lessons, riding her horses, tying goats, and spending time at the lake with her dogs.
