Dear Lincoln Youth Football League Families,

After careful consideration and in consultation with our athletic training staff, the Lincoln Youth Football League Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel all games scheduled for Sunday, August 30th.

This decision is due to the forecasted extreme heat and is being made for the safety and well-being of all of our athletes.

We understand this news may be disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the health of our players. Further information regarding rescheduling, if applicable, will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.

Hello Green’s Fam!

The kids will meet at the south door near the bottom of where their practice field normally is (as indicated in the picture above) at 6pm!

They will then walk down the yellow path with the Spartan team all the way to the Seacrest locker room.

The Green’s players will hear coach Gingery's pregame speech and run out of the tunnel with the players.

After that, we will have them join their section in the stands and cheer on the Spartans.

They need to wear their game jersey with no pads 🏈

Parents—it's probably easiest to park in the Seacrest lot and walk up to the meeting location at the East south door.

A friendly reminder—we have practice tonight (Wednesday). We will not have practice on Thursday (27th) due to the tunnel walk!
