The Vardon “Overlap” grip is the most popular grip used by golfers. Can you name the other two mainly used?

Harry Vardon won six Open Championships, a record that has now stood for over a century, and he did it while basically inventing how modern golfers hold the club in the first place. 🏌️

Vardon grew up caddying on Jersey in the Channel Islands before turning professional, and by the late 1890s he had become the first true international star the sport had ever produced, touring the United States in 1900 and playing more than ninety matches in a single trip while still finding time to win that year's U.S. Open. The overlapping grip that carries his name was not actually his invention, a Scottish amateur named Johnny Laidlay used it first, but Vardon popularized it so completely that it remains the grip taught to most beginners today, more than a hundred years after his career ended. A bout of tuberculosis and later nerve damage in his hand robbed him of some of his best remaining years, and several historians believe he could have added even more majors without it.
