Kentucky Downs Racing has raised the minimum wager on Win, Place and Show betting from $2 to $5 for their live race meet.

Equibase official charts however will display Win, Place and Show payoffs based on the standard $2 wager amount which is consistent with reported WPS payouts at all other tracks.

in racing history on August 27, 2016... ARROGATE won the G1 Travers Stakes by 13 1/2 lengths under Mike Smith, crushing the stakes record and the 1 1/4-mile Saratoga track record that still stands today in 1:59.36 🏇💨

Arrogate went on to win the G1 Breeders' Cup World Championships Classic, G1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational and G1 Dubai World Cup in his next three starts.

The son of Unbridled's Song was retired at the end of 2017 with $17,422,600 in career earnings and is ranked third all-time by earnings among horses with at least one start in North America. He was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2023.

Arrogate passed away at the age of 7 on June 2, 2020.
