That's a wrap on today's chair massage event. Thank you again to Lexington Healing Arts Academy for the invite and for everyone at the Willows for the request for us to come back and help by prioritizing your team's wellbeing. Can't wait to see everyone again, third times the charm 🙌

I have had quite a few questions about lymphatic massage. I figured a series explaining what lymphatic massage is, the benefits, the risks, what a "typical" session may look like, how often you "should" be recieving this work and who can safely administer this work.
🙌 For starters:
Your lymphatic system is a vital part of your immune system? Unlike your circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn't have a pump like the heart. Instead, it relies on movement, breathing, and muscle contractions to circulate lymph fluid throughout the body.
Lymphatic massage is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to stimulate the natural flow of lymph. This can help move excess fluid and metabolic waste through the lymphatic vessels and toward the lymph nodes, where they're filtered.
To maximize your results:
Stay well hydrated before and after your session.
Light movement, such as a short walk, can encourage lymph flow.
Eat nutrient-rich foods to support your body's natural processes.
Prioritize rest to allow your body to recover.
☝️ While many people find lymphatic massage relaxing and beneficial, it's not a treatment for medical conditions or a "detox" that removes toxins from the body. If you have an active infection, blood clots, congestive heart failure, kidney disease, or certain other medical conditions, consult your healthcare provider before scheduling a session.
Your body is designed to care for itself—lymphatic massage is one way to support those natural functions through gentle, therapeutic touch.

When I started this journey, my very first investment wasn't in equipment or decor — it was in my education. Over the years, I've continued to build on that foundation, becoming certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and pursuing additional training in Advanced Lymphatic Drainage and Ashiatsu — each one adding new tools to help me better support your body's specific needs.
That said, the space and tools I use matter too, so I've also invested in a table designed to support that same level of care. It has:
✨️Built-in heating to keep you warm throughout your session
✨️Adjusts hydraulically so it can be raised or lowered to the ideal height — which is especially helpful for techniques like Ashiatsu.
✨️Headrest and foot section move independently as well, helping us find the right support for your body, whatever you need that day
✨️Soft under-table lighting rounds it out, creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere from the moment you lie down.
Today, during a prenatal session — being able to adjust the table made it easy to find safe, comfortable positioning for an (again) mom-to-be, especially with tons of cooling pillows 😌
Every choice I make, from continuing my education to the tools I use is intentional — because you deserve a session built around you.

Some days are spent with 100% client focused intention, others just for the space itself. Spent today resetting the space — deep cleaned everything, fresh towels rolled and ready. Feels good to have everything reset to finish off the week.

Exciting news! I'm thrilled to announce two new additions to my massage services!
💧 Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) – I've just completed my certification in this gentle, rhythmic technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce swelling, support immune function, and promote detoxification. MLD is especially beneficial for:
✔️ Post-surgical recovery
✔️ Chronic inflammation
✔️ Overall immune and wellness support
👣 Ashiatsu Massage – A deep, flowing style of massage performed with the feet, delivering broad, consistent pressure that's perfect for those who love deep tissue work. Many clients find it more comfortable and effective than traditional deep pressure techniques.
Both services are now available to book! Whether you're recovering from a procedure, managing a health condition, or simply craving a deeper level of care, I'd love to support your wellness journey.
📅 Send me a message to book or with any questions you may have!

Hello! A few housekeeping things ...
For safety and truly limited availability, same-day bookings are generally not available for new clients. This is an industry standard that helps create a secure and comfortable environment for everyone.
That said, I do occasionally have very limited same-day availability, but it is rare and not guaranteed—advance booking is always the best option.
I also offer a generous cancellation/rescheduling policy, so please don’t hesitate to use it if something comes up. Life happens, and I want to keep things stress-free for you.
📅 Upcoming Time Off Notice:
I will be unavailable for sessions AND communication from April 23rd through April 29th. Please be sure to book your appointments ahead of time if you’d like to be seen before then!
Thank you for your understanding and continued support ✨
