Registration is open for the 2026 Grimes Mill Winery Bocce League! This is your reminder that we start this Sunday! If you don’t know the information for your teammate, make sure they fill out the form for themselves. We’ll be sure to match up information for all teammates.
Here are the league details:
The league will start on Sunday, August 9 and run through late October (minimum of 8 weeks) and will include a season-ending tournament that will be double-elimination. Games will be played every Sunday and will start at 2PM. Teams will play two games to 12 points each week.
Unlike previous seasons, both daily games will not be played against the same opponent, nor will they be played back to back. We’re shaking up the format to try to provide some relief from the sun on the especially warm days.
Teams will consist of two players and substitutions are allowed if a player is unavailable. Registration is $100/team and can be paid on the first day of league play (8/9/26). All players will receive a league t-shirt at the start of the tournament.
We’ll send a schedule out as soon as we know exactly how many teams will be competing. That probably means that we’ll randomly select matches the first week, so make sure you show up on time because you may have a first round game.
