For a woman, going for a run can be one of two things:

1.) A peaceful, relaxing way to de-stress from life’s troubles.

2.) An anxious part of their day where we constantly look over our shoulders or roll our eyes from a cat-call.

Sadly, most women think of running as the second option. We get scared to lace up our shoes and even leave the house out of fear for our safety.

With RunSafe, women can happily return to enjoying their runs again through our amazing safety app!! We WANT 🫵 to make it home safely and get the exercise your body needs!

No woman should EVER be uncomfortable going for a run.

Bourbon Chase 2026 by Ragnar Relay is soon approaching!! 🙌🏃‍♀️

Last year, RunSafe was able to sponsor our first ever BC team, “RunSafe by the Bell”, and this year we get to do it again! 😊

For those of you not familiar, the Bourbon Chase is a 36 hour, non stop, team relay race that goes across west-central KY. Runners traverse the country roads of KY around the clock, at times completely alone and in the wee of the night!

Aside from crossing the finish line on time, safety and awareness is one of the top priorities of the race. To RunSafe, this is the perfect opportunity to offer our app to runners!

T-minus sixty days and counting, let’s goo!! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

The statistics NEVER lie…

And it’s so sad that this is the point we have come to.

So many women everyday are worrying about stepping out the door for something as simple as a run, and that’s just not okay.

RunSafe makes sure that ALL women feel safe no matter the time of day or place. Every woman deserves to feel safe when they go out for a run.

✨ A woman running in a sports bra is not an invitation ✨
⠀⠀⠀
In light of the iconic photo of the England women’s football team’s victory I decided enough is enough and it is way too hot to be bothering with a t shirt.
⠀⠀⠀
These small acts may seem irrelevant to some but how many women:
⠀⠀⠀
• make sure to avoid showing flesh when exercising
• avoid running at night
• refrain from giving away their location or posting their running routes
• get cat called daily
• are followed or have people “jokingly” join in running with them
• and sadly as we know bear the brunt of many other intimidating and violent behaviours
⠀⠀⠀
Enough is enough.
⠀⠀⠀
Sport is to be enjoyed by all and we do not need more barriers to exercise.
⠀⠀⠀
Wear what you feel comfortable in but it is not up to women to cover up.✌🏼

Running in a sports bra as a woman has NEVER been an invitation for a predator.

On a hot summer day, women want to be able to enjoy their runs and get some exercise.

But, do you know what ruins their run every single time?

It’s the catcalling, the honks, the stares…

And it’s NOT OKAY!

Here with RunSafe, we have created an app that tells women the safest routes to run on to ensure they feel at peace during their exercise! We even keep their loved ones calm and comfortable knowing they can happily watch her run through a tracker provided through a link in the app!

We want all women to have the freedom to run ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, wearing ANYTHING!
