For a woman, going for a run can be one of two things:
1.) A peaceful, relaxing way to de-stress from life’s troubles.
2.) An anxious part of their day where we constantly look over our shoulders or roll our eyes from a cat-call.
Sadly, most women think of running as the second option. We get scared to lace up our shoes and even leave the house out of fear for our safety.
With RunSafe, women can happily return to enjoying their runs again through our amazing safety app!! We WANT 🫵 to make it home safely and get the exercise your body needs!
No woman should EVER be uncomfortable going for a run.

Bourbon Chase 2026 by Ragnar Relay is soon approaching!! 🙌🏃♀️
Last year, RunSafe was able to sponsor our first ever BC team, “RunSafe by the Bell”, and this year we get to do it again! 😊
For those of you not familiar, the Bourbon Chase is a 36 hour, non stop, team relay race that goes across west-central KY. Runners traverse the country roads of KY around the clock, at times completely alone and in the wee of the night!
Aside from crossing the finish line on time, safety and awareness is one of the top priorities of the race. To RunSafe, this is the perfect opportunity to offer our app to runners!
T-minus sixty days and counting, let’s goo!! 🏃♀️🏃♀️

And it’s so sad that this is the point we have come to.
So many women everyday are worrying about stepping out the door for something as simple as a run, and that’s just not okay.
RunSafe makes sure that ALL women feel safe no matter the time of day or place. Every woman deserves to feel safe when they go out for a run.

Women PAUSE when they hear things like this…because too many of us have heard the incidents. Too many of us have heard the reports. Too many of us have had the same gut feeling.
It shouldn’t have to be like this. Women should be able to run whenever and wherever they want!!
With RunSafe, women can finally feel safe to run without fearing for their lives. We want to run free, we want to run safe!!
🚨 Women’s safety while running 🚨
🔴 Always carry your phone and keep location on (even better, share live location)
🔴 ensure people know that you’re out on a run, the distance, and the route you’re taking
🔴 run where there’s traffic. No isolated pretty places should be on your route.
🔴 run in residential areas, so there are people who will hear you if you screamed, and there are doors to knock on if you need help.
🔴 run in areas frequented by runners, because we runners notice each other and keep an eye out on each other. From giving you water to drink, to trying to help in any other way, runners are a wonderful community.
🔴 run with people. But if you run alone sometimes, the other points should help.
There are many, many cases where runners were hurt while out on a run. This is a bigger safety concern for women who run.
