At Eagle Martial Arts, we place a high priority on safety, professionalism, and being prepared for class. Please help us make sure everyone is dressed appropriately for training.

For regular classes:

Please wear your Eagle Martial Arts uniform pants with Eagle Martial Arts or CMA Andover down the leg.
Wear a CMA or tournament tee-shirt, or uniform jacket.
Tee-shirts must be tucked in during class.
No socks - bare feet only.
Testing & Tournaments:
Students must wear their full uniform, including the uniform top and pants.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, professional, and respectful training environment! We appreciate your support.

We will be spotlighting the students doing it right and reminding the students who are not.

Train Hard. Stay Safe.

Martial arts places a strong emphasis on showing respect for others. In this lesson, we are studying an equally important facet of respect: self-respect. Children who have a strong sense of respect for themselves are more likely to be confident, less likely to be the victim or perpetrator of bullying, take better care of themselves, and are more willing to try new things without fear of failure or “looking bad.”

Killing Pessimism Through Martial Arts

Martial arts is more than learning how to kick, punch, block, or defend yourself. It is a powerful tool for changing the way you think.

Pessimism tells us, “I can’t do this.”
Martial arts teaches us, “I can’t do this yet.”

Every class provides an opportunity to face something difficult. A new technique may feel awkward. A challenging form may seem impossible. A tough workout may make you want to quit. But with practice, patience, and persistence, you improve.

That process changes your mindset.

Turn “I Can’t” Into “I Can”

One of the greatest lessons martial arts teaches is that progress doesn't happen overnight. You may not get a technique right the first time—or the tenth time. That doesn't mean you are failing. It means you are learning.

Instead of focusing on what you cannot do, focus on what you can improve today.

I can't do it → I can learn it.
I'm not good at this → I can practice.
This is too hard → This is challenging me to grow.
I failed → I discovered what I need to work on.
I want to quit → I will take one more step.
