Thanks to new Gamecocks Baseball GM Matt Pepin for joining us at the monthly Blowfish Networking and Community Luncheon today.

He gave our fans an inside look at the new coaching staff and what to expect from the Gamecocks in the 2027 season.

For 21 years, the Blowfish and USC Gamecocks have built players for the next level, and the numbers show it. Fifteen former Blowfish have reached the Majors, seven of them Gamecocks, including Brett Kerry and TJ Shook, who both debuted in MLB this season.

Proud of this partnership and excited for what’s next.

Spectacular Networking Hour & Community Luncheon today inside the Stadium Club at The Lex! Our featured guest new South Carolina Gamecock Baseball General Manager Matt Pepin shared the excitement surrounding the new Gamecock Head Baseball Coach Kevin Schnall and the positive direction the program is headed! Go C***s!! Also Pamela Pierce and the Connick School of Irish Dancers not only performed in front of the full house but shared the news of heading to the World Championships in Ireland! $2,000 was raised today to help with their costs to get there. Matt O’Hara of O'Hara's Public House was on hand plus Pamela along with all the Connick Irish Dancers were announced as the 12th annual Grand Marshals of the 2027 Lexington Shamrock Parade (mark your calendars Sunday March 7th 3pm). We would like to thank SC State Representative Paula Rawl Calhoun (87th District) was in attendance today and spoke about how the Blowfish are deeply community driven creating a powerful local impact! Lots of exciting community announcements were aplenty today! More to come …..
