Sometimes the best moments at the gym have absolutely nothing to do with the workout.

Tonight, Beth stopped by between classes.

Not to work out.
Not because she forgot something.
Just to see Coach Allie, give her a hug, tell her she loved her, and head back home.

We talk a lot about getting stronger here — but somewhere between the workouts, high fives, bad days, PRs, laughs, and time spent together, something else happens.

You find your people.

And sometimes, you stop by the gym just because you wanted to give one of them a hug.

This is CrossFit Conductor. 🚂

Grilled Salmon, Broccoli, Rice, Cucumber Salad.
😀🙌
What should my macros be?
How many meals per day?
How many calories?
🤔
Start with cooking your own meals. What should I cook, doesn’t matter, just start with making it yourself. Develop that habit over eating out and the magic will begin.
😀💪🙌
Once that is done, and only when it’s done can we talk about the other details. You’ll never win health game through eating out.
😀💪🚂

The Iron Engineer chose violence. 🚂💀

Yesterday’s Full Steam Saturday was community building… but make it traumatic.

Two teams.
A collection of workouts that can only be described as six separate opportunities to meet God.
One objective: finish first and collect the points.

The rules?

Split the work however you want.
Two people on the same workout? Sure.
Divide and conquer? Absolutely.
Question every decision that led you to an 8 AM Saturday CrossFit class? Encouraged.

There was running. Rowing. Thrusters. Pull-ups. Wall balls. Double-unders. Burpees. Turkish get-ups. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, an innocent Assault Bike waiting for its next victim.

Strategy was attempted.

Chaos prevailed.

Friendships were tested.

Fitness occurred against our will.

But HEY — the freedom to choose how we suffered made it team building. 🤝🏼😂

Another Full Steam Saturday in the books. 🚂🔥

🎥 Evidence of the incident coming soon.

🚂 FULL STEAM SATURDAY — THIS SATURDAY @ 8AM

We’re taking some of the OG CrossFit Girl workouts, breaking them apart, and putting them back together as a TEAM.

You won’t be fighting these workouts alone. You’ll be fighting them with your crew.

So grab your team, bring your game face, and get ready…

Because we’re gonna go after those bi***es. 😤🚂

DISCLAIMER: CrossFit Conductor does not condone, endorse, or necessarily agree with any of the Iron Engineer’s feelings or viewpoints regarding the CrossFit Girl workouts. None of these workouts are, in fact, “bi***es.” We respect all CrossFit workouts equally. Probably. 💪🚂

Member Monday… on a Tuesday because your social media coordinator is behind. 🤣

🚂 Meet Dawn!!!! 🚂

One bid turned into one of the best decisions she’s ever made.

Here’s her story, in her own words:

June 2024. I was 53 years old, overweight, and a brand-new, soon-to-be empty nester. I’d always thought CrossFit looked fun, so when I saw a CrossFit Conductor membership up for auction at my son’s school event, I put in a bid… and won.

I appreciated that Eric took the time to teach me proper form before I started. When I attended my first class, I was hooked! I’ve been coming to 3–6 classes each week ever since, and I’m miserable on the days I don’t get to come.

CrossFit has helped me physically, mentally, and socially. I feel stronger in all of those ways.

Watching Dawn’s journey has been incredible. She’s shown up consistently, embraced every challenge, tackled her first CrossFit Open, and even convinced her college-aged son to give CrossFit a try this summer.

We’re so glad you took a chance on us, Dawn. Thank you for trusting the process and reminding everyone that it’s never too late to start.

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COACH ALLIE! 🎉

It takes a brave person to try CrossFit for the first time.
It takes an even braver person to keep coming back. 💪

But Allie took it one step further… she was brave enough to become a COACH so she could help other people find that same courage in themselves. ❤️

She’s a coach, nurse, wife, and mom — and somehow finds the time to make everyone around her a little stronger, healthier, and braver.

We’re incredibly lucky to have you on the CrossFit Conductor team, Allie!

Happy Birthday, Coach! 🥳💪❤️

Apparently Lady Locomotive and I finished 12th at the Summer Throwdown at CrossFit 859…

…or did we? 🤔

After reviewing the evidence, we’ve determined the leaderboard simply combined our 1st and 2nd place finishes into one number.

It’s the only logical explanation.

The Iron Engineer is officially hanging up… ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
🚂💪💪💪
Training has already begun for the CrossFit Conductor BEER MILE this September, where poor decisions, fast running, and spilled beer will separate the contenders from the pretenders.

🚂 ALL ABOARD. 🍺

Four workouts.
The tanks were emptied so hard we finished on reserve.

No matter where we landed on the leaderboard, every athlete left every ounce they had on the competition floor.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made sure our athletes heard you when they needed it most. 💪🏼🚂
