Happy Labor Day! 💙 Today, we’re celebrating the incredible people who pour so much into the communities around them.

However you’re spending the day, we hope you find a little time to relax, have fun and remember the ABCs of water safety wherever your plans take you:

A: Adult Supervision 👀 Designate a Water Watcher anytime kids are around water.

B: Barriers 🔒 Keep fences, gates, and doors around water secured.

C: Classes 🏊 Keep building strong water skills through consistent swim lessons.

Water safety starts with the little things we do every day. In honor of Baby Safety Month, here are five quick tips to help make safety part of your family’s routine:

1. Gather everything before the bath begins so towels, soap, and toys are already close by 🧴

2. Stay within arm’s reach during bath time and keep your attention focused on your little one 🛁

3. Empty tubs, buckets, and other containers after use to keep standing water out of reach 💧

4. Create barriers around water at home by securing bathroom doors, toilet lids, and access points leading outdoors 🚪

5. Talk through water safety with every caregiver and share your child’s bath routine, water boundaries, and emergency information before you head out 👶

The best first swim buddy? The one who’s been there from the very beginning. 💙 Parent & Tot classes help little ones explore the water, build confidence and create memories with the people they love most.
