FayCo had representation throughout at Sunday’s race! We celebrated riders recognized as “Do Gooders,” riders competing in their first-ever mountain bike race, and riders who finished top three in their categories. 🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️

So many reasons to celebrate—and so many reasons to be proud! Way to go, FayCo! 💙 We are SO proud of all of you! 🙌

We're so proud of Wyatt and Grey and all they've accomplished! 💙 We can't wait to see where their bikes - and their adventures - take them next! 🚲

Teammates and competitors. Coworkers and coaches.

Wyatt and Grey have both grown up in KY NICA. Grey joined FayCo because he wanted to race — he was already an experienced rider looking for a chance to compete. He rode with both FayCo and Bluegrass Berms during his seven years with KY NICA, making friends on both teams along the way.

Wyatt joined FayCo after attending a Franks and Berms event. He had ridden a bike, but not very much. He liked that the team could be whatever he wanted it to be, just for fun and friends, or all-in on competing. He came for the friendships and stayed to become a fierce competitor.

Outside the trails, Wyatt and Grey worked side by side at a local bike shop, learning maintenance, repair, and business. Both graduated high school in May, and this summer they joined FayCo's coaching crew.

"We wanted to help other kids have the same experiences we had," says Wyatt.

This fall, Wyatt and Grey head off to Lindsey Wilson University as teammates again, and now roommates too, riding for a collegiate mountain biking team. Years on KY NICA trails gave them the skills, and the friendships, they'll carry onto every new trail ahead.

🚵‍♂️ FayCo on the Go: Bluegrass Mountain Cup’s 12 Hours of CVP! ☀️

Three FayCo coaches, four FayCo student-athletes, and two future FayCo riders took on 12 hours of dirt, heat, and humidity at the Bluegrass Mountain Cup 12 Hours of CVP—and they brought plenty of teamwork and determination along for the ride!

FayCo was represented by a coach racing solo (also featured on the trophies), two coach/student-athlete duo teams, a student-athlete duo, and a future FayCo riders duo joined by a special guest student-athlete from Clark County Composite Cycling Team to help them tackle the challenge.

And when the dust settled… FayCo brought home a P1 and P2 finish in the Duo Men category! 🥇🥈 There was also a FayCo alum who jumped in with other Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League alums to finish P2 in the Team Women category. 🥈 That’s a whole lot of riding, a whole lot of teamwork, and a whole lot of fun. Way to go, FayCo! 🤘🚵‍♀️
