Had the great pleasure of meeting Barry Eugene "Butch" Wilmore. A NASA astronaut , and United States Navy test pilot, and a veteran of three spaceflights.

In June 5, 2024 He launched aboard the first crewed Starliner mission.

The spacecraft lost several aft-firing thrusters, which compromised its six degrees of freedom and translation control, forcing Wilmore to manually stabilize the craft for docking.

Due to uncertainty surrounding the Starliner's safety for the return trip, the mission stretched out.

On March 18, 2025, he returned to Earth on the SpaceX Dragon capsule with the other crew members, after 286 trapped in space.
