Long and hot but always fun day with the Indiana crew!!

🥇Today was Addie and Bella’s debut in the show ring after months of rehabbing and getting to know one another. They knocked it out of the park to finish on their dressage score of 26.9 and bring home the blue! (On Addie’s birthday too!)

🥈Annie beautifully handled a slightly distracted Finn, to finish on her dressage score and going double clear in stadium and XC, coming in 2nd in their Novice division!

🏅Christina and Grits put down a beautiful 29.4 dressage test, before an unfortunate early dismount in stadium cut their day short. (she was only making sure her air vest was working properly.. 😅)

As a trainer, you can teach technicality, but you can’t teach drive. You can teach showmanship, but you can’t teach workmanship. Those two have to come from the rider, and both develop into talent.

I feel blessed to work with students that are great examples of drive and workmanship in their most talented form!

🏆 Beautiful Hanoverian HPM Elegance was the winner of the Training Rider Division
✨ Out of 20 competitive entries, HPM Elegance and rider Viviana Dunlap were the only combination to jump double clear in both stadium and cross-country—a remarkable accomplishment that showcases skill, preparation, and consistency.

This victory marks their third win in their last four events, and even more impressively, they have finished on their dressage score at every competition this season. What an incredible testament to the quality of their training and partnership!

🎉 Join us in congratulating Hanoverian mare HPM Elegance (Escudao II x EM Fuerst Flight R/Fuerst Gotthard) and her rider Viviana Dunlap on an outstanding achievement at the Kentucky May-Daze Horse Trials!

This talented pair earned their second consecutive victory at the Training Level, leading their division from start to finish. They ended with an impressive dressage score of 28.8, the only combination in their division to finish on their dressage score. This certainly showcased their consistency, partnership, and preparation throughout the competition.

With challenging courses testing every competitor, HPM Elegance and Viviana truly rose to the occasion. Out of 59 entries, only five pairs completed the event without adding penalties to their dressage score—a testament to the quality of their performance across all phases.

Congratulations to owner/rider Viviana, HPM Elegance, her breeder Cynthia Bellis-Jones and the entire team behind this success. We look forward to watching what this exceptional Hanoverian mare accomplishes next! 🌟🐴🏆

Successful day for Team ESH at CKRH’s Paul Frazer Combined Test and Dressage Show!

🥇Annie and Iron Invitation FOD with a 27.9 to take the win in Beginner Novice CT.
🥇Viv and Luna also with a FOD of 24.3 for another win at Training CT.
🥉🥉Hollis and her 6 y.o. Ritz Toasted Crackers scored a 71.4% and 75% in their Dessage Tests to take home two 3rd place ribbons.
