So how do you make sure the 15 years you control are spent on what actually matters?

By running everything you do through The Immortality Test.

The Immortality Test is a concept drawn from the work of philosopher Ernest Becker.

It asks:

“Will what I’m doing matter when I’m gone?”

If the answer is yes, it’s purposeful. If it’s a no, then it’s probably not.

The Immortality Test reveals that the most meaningful things we do are rarely about us—they’re actually about the things that outlive us.

Meanwhile, things like status, materialism, or refreshing your Instagram For You page fail The Immortality Project Test. They won’t matter one iota when you’re feeding the worms.

On Sunday November 2, 2025 the staff, family, friends, teachers and past and present students of Decisive Defense Academy gathered together to celebrate 12 wonderful years of ministry and service to the cities of Lewisville and Denton! #happybirthday 🎊 12 years of training spirits, souls, and bodies to be warriors in gardens and equipping our students to decide the outcome of their challenges. The road to get here has been a tremendous blessing, and all of us at DDA give our thanks to everyone who came out, made a video, or called in on Sunday to share the occasion with us. You all have made each class and each day worth it! DDA is here because of you, and is here for you.
