Heading down to Quincy🏁
Here are details for this coming Saturday races at The Lil Bullring. This will be a lengthy post so make sure to read to the end please. We are hosting Hams Prairie International Speedway Hell Tour race! As I said in earlier post we are running their classes for this event. We are not running for season points this weekend for our track. I’m going over some things here as in running orders and race procedures.
First thing is, there are 2 rookie classes. They have a beginner class and advance class. I talked with Lonnie and since we only run one rookie class, both the rules are the same as our rules, our drivers will be allowed to run either class or they can run both if they wish too. Just have to pay the entry fees for each class. On this night we will only be running a heat and feature. If a class has 8 or more karts sign in, that class will be split into heat 1 and heat 2. The way you finish in the heats will determine your feature line up. For example all of heat 1 karts will line up on the inside row of the feature and heat 2 will line up on the outside row. So winner of heat 1 will be on pole and winner of heat 2 will be outside pole or the feature and so on.
Lap counts are as follows: heat/feature
Rookie flat karts 8/10
Jr flat karts and wing classes 8/12
All senior classes 10/15
Couple rules that will be used as well. If you cause 2 yellows or 2 spin rule you will be black flagged for that race only. This is an exception for rookie beginner flat karts. If you stop on track you go to the back no questions asked.
The running order for hot laps and the heat/feature are not the same. Reason I do this is, last race we ran adults first in hot laps and got the track rolled in nicely. So going with that again. Will be combining adult clones as a hot lap session, predator slick and treads as a hot lap session as well. All other classes will be ran as their class.
Our fees for the weekend are as follows. EVERYONE IN THE PITS MUST HAVE A PIT PASS!!!! No exceptions!! This will be policed very very hard. Caught in pits without a pit pass, driver you are with will be disqualified for the night. This is an insurance deal and we want everyone to be protected if for some reason something would happen.
Pit passes are $20
Kids 10 and under(non drivers) $10
Remember all spectators are free to watch on hill side or around the back stretch and turns 3 and 4!!!
Entry fee per class: $25
Rookie Entry Fee: $5 per class
For the $25 entry fee classes, 20 goes back to the class and 5 goes to track fund. Pay out is base off number of entries in the class. We pay back 1 spot for every 3 entries.
Gates will open at 4pm sharp and not a minute sooner
Drivers meeting conducted at 6pm
